The Cleaning Mate Team are writing this as a reply to a recent review we received, as we cannot reply directly on the review page. This is the worst customer experience and review that Cleaning Mate has ever had, and we want to write the truth about the situation. The customer made a booking for carpet cleaning and pest control for 11th May 2016 with an arrival between 3:30-4:30pm (ETA). The carpet cleaning technician arrived at 3:50pm (on time) to clean the carpets. When the technician arrived, the office staff called the customer for the carpet cleaning payment. He refused to pay for the carpet cleaning alone, and started yelling at the staff over the phone. The pest control technician had a breakdown with his van, and was unable to attend the job that day. The technician called the customer to inform him of the situation, to apologise, and to organize for a time/date to reschedule. The customer was furious and called the office, and started yelling about the situation. After more than 10min on the phone, he finally calmed down, and paid for the carpet cleaning and pest control. We then arranged for the key pick up the next morning from the real estate to do the pest spray. On the 12th May 2016, the pest technician collected the keys from the real estate, and when he arrived at the property the front gate was locked and he did not have a key for entry. The office called the real estate and they informed us that the tenant had not given them all the keys back. They asked us to contact the tenant and organize access with him. When we called the customer, once again he started yelling and was furious that the technician couldn't just 'find another way in'. In the end, the pest technician got access to the property after one of the other tenants was kind enough to let him in. The customer continuously abused our staff, used inappropriate language, and was unable to have a decent conversation without yelling.
